Low voltage CMOS/CCD Mixed Signal Processors
CMOS/CCD circuits allow mixed signal processing where CCD perform analog and CMOS logic perform digital operations.
Traditional interface between CMOS and CCD makes low voltage operations
difficult. We propose a way to ease low voltage operation by utilizing
some well known analog techniques.
- One of the two chips implemented 32-tap programmable FIR filter
(techical report). This chip
successfully demonstrated the feasibility of the low voltage interface concept.
- The other chip is in testing stages. This CMOS/CCD 256-tap Oversampling
D/A converter is geared toward performance.
